Difference between reactive printing and pigment printing

1. The process is different

Pigment printing is to use thermosetting or thermoplastic synthetic resin as adhesive agent, mix with insoluble pigment to form pigment printing paste, apply it on the surface of fabric by mechanical or manual method, and form a film after drying and baking, so that the pigment can cover the fiber tightly, so as to achieve the purpose of printing and coloring.

Reactive printing, in the process of dyeing and printing, the reactive groups of reactive dyes and fiber molecules form a combination, making the dye and fiber form a whole.

2. Different characteristics

Reactive printing and dyeing means that azo and formaldehyde are not added in the process of printing and dyeing, there is no harmful substance to human body, and it does not fade when washing, the color and fabric feel better, and there will be no hard and soft feeling.

Pigment printing, printing fabric, bright and gorgeous color, good light stability. It can give the fabric a full, dry and soft feel, especially excellent rubbing fastness. The dry and wet rubbing fastness of the fabric can reach more than or equal to grade 4 (for reference only), good washing fastness and good air permeability.
