1、 Sizing process is not only an indispensable process in the textile processing, but also a very complex and key process. It is a treatment method to increase the toughness and luster of cloth by using special materials. Sizing treatment directly affects weaving efficiency and product quality.

1. In the production of textile mills, most warp yarns have to be sized before weaving, except for some strands, strong twist yarns and some types of variant yarns (such as network yarns). This weaving preparation process is called warp sizing. The fundamental purpose of warp sizing is to improve the weavability of warp, so that it can bear the strong mechanical action of loom when weaving.

2. For ordinary consumers, in the family environment, usually use: starch sizing and sugar water shaping. The method is to add water to dissolve in the pot, after boiling transparent, squeeze the fabric, let them fully absorb.

(1) Starch sizing, sizing with wheat starch, paste, or white latex, etc. use these to size the fabric.

(2) Sugar water sizing is used for three-dimensional modeling of crochet, which is harder than starch, more environmentally friendly than white glue, and crystal clear. Shaped tablecloth, small cushion and so on, with thin sugar water on the line, need to stand up things to use thick.

2、 Lining material refers to the material used between fabric and lining, attached or glued to clothing material. In the production of bags or clothing and other things, in order to solve the problem that ordinary cloth is too soft and not stiff, we usually attach a layer of adhesive lining or rubber auxiliary cotton on the back of cloth.

Adhesive lining is a kind of lining coated with hot melt adhesive, which is one of the auxiliary materials often used in fabric production. The adhesive lining is attached to the back of the cloth by heating and pressing. When the cloth needs to express its straightness and thickness, it can be reflected by adding adhesive lining. Or when the cloth is too soft and slippery to operate, adding adhesive lining can make the cloth obedient.
